This section of Mark’s Gospel helps us to understand that every person is valuable to Jesus. Jesus will receive us whether we are respected or rejected, or somewhere in between. We will see how much Jesus values a man, a woman and a young child as we discover that sometimes Desperate Times call for Desperate Measures.
