We have set aside the first Friday of each month as a special day of prayer and fasting for our church community. We invite you to join us as we give God greater priority in our lives.
Fast from food: If you are physically able, then skip a meal that day. Instead of eating, spend that time in prayer.
Fast from another appetite: If you are not physically able to skip a meal, then fast from some other appetite that you have. Maybe it’s computer games, or texting, or social media. Maybe it’s TV. Pick something you will skip that day, and instead devote that time to prayer.
Pray with us: Fast and pray during the day, then – if your schedule permits – join us here at the church for our First Friday Prayer gathering, from 7:00 – 7:45 pm. This will be a great way to wrap up our day of fasting and prayer, as we pray for ourselves, for others, for our community, and for the world.
