When the Resurrection took place, the witnesses knew it was true news. But it took a while for them to understand that it was good news. It’s important to understand that there is a back story to this idea of resurrection. It’s a powerful reason for understanding that this resurrection of Jesus really did happen. (Mark 16:1-8)
