Sunday Morning Programs
Children’s Church
During the 11:00 am. service each Sunday, we provide a special service for all children from age 4 through the 5th grade. This service features Bible instruction, musical worship, video clips, activities, and more.
Children’s Sunday School
During the 9:30 am. service each Sunday, we offer age-graded Bible classes for children from ages 5 through 5th grade.
Nursery & Toddlers
Our nursery and toddler rooms are staffed by competent, caring adults and are open during both the 9:30 and 11:00 am. services each Sunday.
Cry Room
We offer a “cry room” adjacent to our worship center for parents and infants. This is a perfect place to both watch the service and listen while nursing or tending to a fussing infant.
Sunday Afternoon & Weeknight Programs
Mission Possible Kids (Grades 1-6)
MP Kids help change the world by participating in “hands-on” mission projects to benefit missio
ns at home and abroad. Kids are identified as “Secret Agents” and earn stars for their t-shirts for every mission they accomplish. They achieve a new rank after every 6 missions. Meetings are monthly and are listed in the Sunday worship program.
KidMax (Grades K-5)
This is our signature community service/outreach program. Each Wednesday during the school year, we provide a free after-school program for elementary aged children. Kids are bused to the GWC campus from our neighborhood public school, Bertha Holt Elementary. For 4 hours, staff and volunteers from our church provide supervision for fun activities, classes (such as cooking, arts& crafts, sewing), snacks, and games in our gym. Parents may come anytime throughout the afternoon to pick-up their children. While most of the students come from Holt School, all elementary-age kids are welcome to attend KidMax. For more information, or to register your child, please contact the church office at 541-683-8213, or send an email to office@gardenway.net
Kids Night Out (Grades K-5)
We hold this special event several times each year for both Garden Way families and families in the community. Kids are dropped off by their parents from 6:00 – 8:15 pm. and enjoy activities in our gym, movies, and a pizza dinner under the supervision of staff and volunteers. KNO meeting times will be listed in the Sunday worship program and the KidMax weekly parent newsletter.
