Worship, it its simplest form, is our response to God and all that He has done for us. When we praise Him in spirit and in truth we are responding in thankfulness, honor, and surrender to His will. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:15 that we should be continually offering God a sacrifice of praise. God equates our praise to a sacrifice because true worship requires that we sacrifice or push ourselves beyond our preferences, our self-interests, and even our inhibitions to focus on Him. Worship is not about us; it’s all about blessing and glorifying our God and savior!

Two Styles, One Church

If you are new to GWC we would be honored if you would join us in worshiping God together this Sunday. To better facilitate worship for as many people as possible we offer both traditional and contemporary worship styles. The purpose of this variety is to help people worship God freely in their prefrerred style.

Traditional Service

Combines traditional hymns, newer praise choruses, and familiar contemporary songs, led by several singers accompanied by keyboard and a string ensemble. The result is an easy-to-sing, soul-touching musical blend that blesses older and younger families alike.
